• Patagonia R4 fleece is slightly heavier, without the bulk, and windproof protecting you from the windiest of days.  It’s ideal for all mountain sports, alpine hikes and backpacking.

At Patagonia, waste has no reward.  This sums up Patagonia’s founder and creator, Yvon Chouinard foundation for doing business.  He founded Patagonia clothing and outerwear over 35 years ago, with the outdoor enthusiast in mind:  anything it produced would be of the highest quality, manufactured in the most responsible way.  In the early 1990’s Chouinard conscience of the pesticides in cotton instructed his managers to make the switch to organic cotton products in six months time, which they did successfully.
